Becky Lynch’s WWE contract is set to expire in June 2024 and she has opened up about her future plans ahead of any negotiations.

Previously, Lynch had stated that WWE is her “home” and that the company would be where she retires.
In new comments made to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Lynch provided further insight into her future during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff green carpet event.

Sean Ross Sapp noted that WWE stars could now say “pay up” in the wake of the financial performance of the company, including the $5bn multi-year Netflix deal that was recently signed, to which Lynch replied:
“That’s just what you do. I think, more than anything, it’s about deciding what the future looks like.
“What is the best avenue for the future, and what are the goals and what do you want to achieve? Then, you make decisions intelligently.”

During the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show, Becky Lynch interrupted Rhea Ripley, targeting the WWE Women’s World Champion ahead of the Elimination Chamber qualification match on February 24, 2024.
Lynch recently revealed the advice she would give to her younger self, spurred on by ‘frustrating’ comments made to her by John Cena.

Seth Rollins is also in the position of having an expiring WWE deal and commented about his future with the company.
According to Rollins, he expects a new deal to be worked out with WWE with his contract also expiring in June 2024.
