WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T has revealed that he’s training for a potential return to the ring.

After his 1-minute stint in the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble match, Booker T announced his retirement, stating that it was a great exit for him.
The wrestling veteran has now confirmed that he has been seriously thinking about having one more match with his Reality of Wrestling promotion.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T opened up about how hard it is to step away from the ring, noting:
“It’s hard to walk away from it. It really is. It’s so hard. I look at Matt and Jeff (Hardy), Chris Jericho, Taker, The Rock sneaking into WrestleMania 40. That’s what the business is. We never really retire.
“Even myself, I’m thinking about having another match at Reality of Wrestling. I’ve been training. I’ve been getting myself together in the gym on a regular basis. I’m on the 30 day ab workout.
“I’m like, man, I can still do this. How are you gonna tell a man he can’t do it no more? You can’t do it.”

Booker T mentioned Matt Hardy, who recently let his AEW deal expire without signing a new contract with the company, despite receiving an offer.
Matt Hardy made a surprise return to TNA Wrestling on Saturday (April 20), attacking Moose at the Rebellion pay-per-view.
An interesting update has emerged on Hardy’s status following his TNA appearance, which you can read more about right here.
