AEW Collision results – February 3 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with in-ring action.

AEW Continental Champion Eddie Kingston defeated Bryan Keith in a Proving Ground Match
Eddie Kingston hit Bryan Keith with a spinning back fist to secure the pinfall victory.
Tony Schiavone gets in the ring after the match. Kingston puts over Schiavone’s wife and tells him to talk to Keith instead. Schiavone announces that Bryan Keith is All Elite. Bryan Danielson comes out and shows respect to Keith and raises his hand.

A video package aired replaying Jon Moxley’s thoughts following AEW Dynamite, where he was attacked by multiple wrestlers from CMLL.

Bryan Danielson defeated Hechicero
Bryan Danielson caught Hechicero after a series of rollups to secure the pinfall victory.
Hechicero attacks Danielson after the match, but Claudio Castagnoli makes the save.

FTR and Daniel Garcia are backstage. Garcia says the best things in life come unexpectedly and teases that the three of them might remain as a trio going forward. Wheeler says he didn’t expect this either, but he loves having Garcia by their side. Harwood mentions that the rankings are back and that the three of them are in the Trios’ rankings and they will continue to move up them tonight against Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Killswitch.

FTW Champion HOOK defeated The Outrunners in a handicap match
HOOK locks Redrum on Truth Magnum to win the match via submission. 

Mark Briscoe speaks on AEW Collision
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Mark Briscoe. Briscoe says it feels damn good to be in Texas tonight. Briscoe says tonight is special for him because as a child he spent his Saturday nights watching Schiavone talking to legends like Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair so this is a special moment for him.
Mark Briscoe says he came out to help FTR and Daniel Garcia last week and he got jumped from behind by House of Black. But Briscoe reminds everyone that he was standing tall with FTR and Garcia by the end of the night.
Briscoe talks about getting knocked down and getting back up, the lights go out, and House of Black is on the screen. Black says that House of Black intends to eradicate him from the world of professional wrestling.

A video package plays highlighting Adam Copeland’s Cope Open. It’s announced that Copeland will be on AEW Collision next week.

Serena Deeb defeated Queen Aminata
Serena Deeb locks Queen Aminata in the Serenity Lock to win the match via submission.

Swerve Strickland speaks ahead of match with Hangman Page on AEW Dynamite
Tony Schiavone brings out Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. Swerve Strickland says it’s Black History Month and he acknowledges all of the people who paved the way to allow him to talk to him right now. Strickland namedrops Ron Simmons, Kofi Kingston, and Athena.
Strickland says he’ll be able to put his name alongside them in the future when he becomes AEW World Champion. Swerve admits he’s done some horrible things to get to this point, but he doesn’t regret any of them.
Schiavone asks Swerve about Hangman’s statement that Swerve can’t beat him without the Mogul Embassy. Swerve says he’s gone to war with Hangman and he’s beaten him twice now and the third time he intends to him in his rearview mirror immediately.
Strickland informs Prince Nana that he cannot interfere in his match with Hangman on Wednesday as he doesn’t want any more excuses from Page.

A video package aired replaying Toni Storm’s comments following AEW Dynamite Wednesday night.

Red Velvet defeated Vertvixen
Red Velvet hits Vertvixen with The Mix to secure the pinfall victory.

FTR and Daniel Garcia defeated TNT Champion Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Killswitch (w/ Shayna Wayne)
Daniel Garcia gets a flash rollup pin on Nick Wayne to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Garcia dances as Christian Cage stares angrily from ringside as AEW Collision goes off the air.
