On WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes was in the ring celebrating his historic back-to-back Royal Rumble wins when he was interrupted by Seth Rollins.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion had something to say to Rhodes and it simply couldn’t wait.
While Rhodes had already had a chance to enjoy some support from the crowd (including a ‘You deserve it!’ chant), he was then joined by Rollins.
Seth Rollins would go on to not only congratulate Cody, he also had a highly intriguing proposition.

Explaining that he was aware that Rhodes was planning on challenging Roman Reigns for WrestleMania 40 after his Royal Rumble win, Rollins said that Cody should consider challenging for Rollins’ title instead.
Going on to give fairly solid rationale as to why Cody Rhodes would be better off challenging for the Raw specific WWE World Heavyweight Championship rather than the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Describing the World Heavyweight Championship as the more relevant title, he referred to those held by Roman Reigns as the ‘Hollywood title’ rather than being actually indicative of hard work and title defenses in professional wrestling.

Calling his current title the ‘Dusty Rhodes Championship,’ Rollins encouraged Rhodes to think about what title actually meant more.
Cody appeared to be at least partially swayed by Rollins’ perspective, acknowledging by the end of the segment that he would ‘think about it’.
Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, CM Punk revealed that he had suffered an injury during the Royal Rumble 2024.
