A WWE Raw star is backstage at the August 18 edition of SmackDown in Toronto.
At WWE SummerSlam, LA Knight picked up the biggest win of his main roster run so far by winning the Slim Jim Battle Royal. During the course of the bout, Knight eliminated former two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion The Miz.
On the August 7 edition of WWE Raw, The Miz called out the SmackDown star and had a confrontation with him. After a heated exchange of words, Knight laid out Miz with his BFT finisher.
On the August 14 episode, “The A Lister” teased the possibility of him showing up on Knight’s show, SmackDown, to confront him.
Per PWInsider, The Miz is backstage at tonight’s WWE SmackDown taping in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
It is not yet confirmed when Miz and Knight will go one-on-one in the ring.
Announced for tonight’s broadcast, Edge will face Sheamus for the first time ever to celebrate his 25 year anniversary, and Damage CTRL’s Bayley and WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY will face Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair.
