It appears that a popular star could be joining AEW full-time, following the announcement that they will be leaving another promotion.
On Monday (May 8), Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling held a press conference to announce that Yuka Sakazaki will be graduating from the promotion at the end of the year.
The current plan is for the former Princess of Princess Champion to wrestle her final match for TJPW on December 1.
TJPW summarised the news with this statement on social media:

Her final show with TJPW will be on December 1, 2023 at Korakuen Hall.
From 2024, she will continue to wrestle while being based in the United States.#tjpw
This announcement has lead to speculation that Sakazaki is preparing to join AEW full-time, especially as it’s expected that Sakazaki will be based out of the US.
She made her AEW debut in 2019 at the promotion’s first pay-per-view, Double or Nothing.
Sakazaki has regularly wrestled for AEW since, notably competing in the 2021 AEW Women’s Championship Elimination Tournament.
She most recently wrestled for AEW at a February taping of Dark Elevation, but has since competed for ROH, challenging for Athena’s ROH Women’s Championship at Supercard of Honor in March.
