IMPACT/TNA Wrestling has announced that another former WWE star has signed with the promotion ahead of its relaunch.

IMPACT will rename itself back to TNA in January 2024, and has just revealed another new acquisition.
That new signing is former WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion, KUSHIDA.

The official IMPACT website writes:
It’s official, KUSHIDA has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.
As a longtime New Japan Pro-Wrestling standout, KUSHIDA has held the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions.
KUSHIDA has been on the precipice of success since his arrival last year, taking Steve Maclin to his limit in an IMPACT World Championship match at Rebellion 2023.
It’s time for KUSHIDA to take his career to the next level and it happens in TNA Wrestling!

KUSHIDA was with WWE from April 2019 to April 2022, winning the NXT Cruiserweight Title in 2021 and reigning for 160 days.
Since his departure, he’s gone on to have one match for AEW, which was a TNT Championship loss against Darby Allin in January 2023.
After that’s he’s been wrestling regularly for NJPW, and pretty regularly for IMPACT as well.

Kushida joins Trent Seven as another former WWE NXT star who’s signed with TNA Wrestling.
