MJF has shared his thoughts about his former ‘Better Than You, Bay Bay’ teammate, Adam Cole, potentially returning from injury to AEW.
Cole last competed at AEW All Out in September 2023, teaming with MJF to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver).
He made a brief appearance at AEW Double or Nothing, with an ankle injury keeping him away from television.
It was recently reported that the ‘complexity of the injury‘ Cole suffered has left him out of action but that he hopes ‘it’s not much longer’.
The AEW American Champion MJF has recently shared his thoughts on an Adam Cole return, and he’s not been the kindest.
During a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic podcast, MJF said of Cole:
“Isn’t he dead? Didn’t I kill him? I broke his nuts and then I broke his spine. I mean, it was pretty straight forward.
“He’s never coming back to wrestling, and I think we can all agree. Bad guy, not a nice guy.
“If anyone is upset with the way I’m acting, call Cole because it is not on me.”
Adam Cole recently shared a message on Twitter that featured MJF amid his ongoing absence from AEW, writing:
“Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life.” pic.twitter.com/ES742CtEMj

MJF was recently targeted by NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd who warned that he would expose the AEW American Champion in expletive-laden comments.
