Following news of her free agency, a new report has provided an update on WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix potentially joining AEW.

As previously reported, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix is now officially a free agent after her contract with the company expired.
Beth’s husband Adam Copeland signed with All Elite Wrestling in October 2023. Phoenix provided the opening “You Think You Know Him?” to his AEW theme music.
Since his signing with the promotion, many fans have wondered if the WWE Hall of Famer could appear in AEW alongside her husband.
Fightful Select provided an update, noting that those they spoke to indicate that Beth Phoenix is in amazing condition and could likely compete again if she chose to.

The report notes that the subject of Phoenix possibly appearing for AEW has been broached backstage, but there is no confirmation if the two sides have had conversations.
While the former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion couldn’t use the Phoenix name, Beth is her real first name, so she would be able to use the name Beth Copeland.
Beth and Adam Copeland teamed up in her last two matches for WWE with the last being in February 2023 when they defeated The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber 2023.

One AEW source indicated that if Phoenix were to come in to the company, it would likely be when her husband Adam Copeland returns from injury.
Copeland suffered a serious leg injury in his Barbwire Steel Cage Match against Malakai Black at Double Or Nothing in May 2024. Beth has been backstage at multiple AEW shows that her husband has appeared at since signing with the promotion.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on Beth Phoenix’s free agency status and potentially joining AEW when they become available.
