A rumor killer has been revealed in regards to AEW and Britt Baker.

The AEW women’s division booking has been at the center of conversation following the July 26 edition of AEW Dynamite. On the episode, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. defeated Taya Valkyrie. Following the bout, the camera focused in on a sign that read, “Book The Women’s Division Better.”

Amongst all the talk on social media about the booking of AEW’s women’s division, as well as some criticism of the match between Baker and Taya Valkyrie on Dynamite this week, prominent indie wrestler LuFisto tweeted:

In a followup on the story, PWInsider reported that several sources reached out to make it clear that Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. was not involved in preventing LuFisto from signing with All Elite Wrestling.
LuFisto has not revealed who she was referring to with the above tweet, but there were a lot of fans on social media who jumped to the conclusion it was Baker – both PWInsider and Fightful have now confirmed that Baker had nothing to do with keeping LuFisto from working with AEW past the one show she worked.

That one show was an AEW Dark ‘Elevation’ taping in April 2022 where she teamed with Emi Sakura and The Bunny in a loss to Anna Jay, Ruby Soho and Skye Blue.
We’ll keep you posted with any more updates.
