AEW’s Chris Jericho is hoping to reinvent himself once again, this time in the world of Broadway musicals.

With more than three decades as a professional wrestler under his belt, Jericho is best-selling author, actor, podcaster and lead singer of Fozzy.
And, that’s not to forget the Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea cruise ship tours that he started with the October 2018 experience.

Speaking with The Messenger, Jericho discussed how he sees himself in a world of multiple entertainment endeavours, saying:
“I never, ever put myself in a box for anything that I do.
“I’m an entertainer. If I said I wanted to play center for the L.A. Kings, it’s probably not going to happen.
“But if I say I want to do Broadway, why not?”

Considering his background as an entertainer, he hinted at Broadway ambitions, suggesting:
“I can act, I can sing, I understand what it’s like to be in front of a crowd.
“Anything that’s in that world for me, I’m open to it.
“I could get an offer to do Broadway tomorrow, “and if it came my way, I would seriously consider it.
“I never thought I’d get an offer to play an ex-rock star father who is now a horse breeding farmer.”

Jericho’s on-screen resume outside of wrestling has seen him compete on Dancing with the Stars and appear on The Masked Singer.
In 2020, along with MJF, Jericho performed “Me and My Shadow” by Sammy Davis Jr in a very theatrical production that can be seen below.
