Rhea Ripley comments on upcoming mixed tag team match with Dominik Mysterio

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has responded to a pair of rising stars after a match was made official for NXT Heatwave on August 22.

Ripley and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio have become mainstays on NXT in recent weeks, and they have certainly made their fair share of enemies while on Tuesday nights.
Most recently two names that have taken issue with Ripley and ‘Dirty’ Dom’s conduct have been Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria.
After Ripley got involved to cost Lee his North American Title shot on the August 8 NXT, Valkyria would rush to the ring to chase off Ripley.
Valkyria and Ripley had plenty of priors before this point, with the two duking it out on NXT TV on July 25, a match Ripley won despite Valyria’s best efforts.

Now, on this week’s episode, Ripley and Dom responded to their rivals’ actions and challenged Lee and Valkyria to a mixed-tag match at the special NXT Heatwave show on August 22.
This was accepted Lee and Valkyria, with a backstage segment showing the two attempting to come together in their pursuit to teach Dom and Ripley a lesson.
In response, Ripley retweeted the clip and used a bit of Lee’s native tongue to send a threat to them both ahead of Heatwave.
