An update on Cash Wheeler following his recent arrest has emerged on tonight’s August 23 episode of AEW Dynamite ahead of All In.

Wheeler, real name Daniel Wheeler, turned himself into police on Friday, August 18 following an incident on July 27 where he was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
The situation was described as a “road rage type incident” where Wheeler “allegedly flashed a handgun at the alleged victim”.
A warrant was issued on July 28, and on August 3, he filed a not guilty plea.

On the day he turned himself in, his bond was set at $2500 and he was ordered to turn in any weapons he currently owns within 12 hours of being released, and have no contact with the victim, who isn’t someone he knows.
Later that day, the bond was paid, and he was, and is, free to work for AEW.
AEW has continued to promote the All In match between FTR (Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and the Young Bucks at Wembley Stadium for this coming Sunday, August 27.

And now in a further sign of confirmation that Wheeler and Harwood will still be appearing at All In, an appearance on tonight’s AEW Dynamite by FTR.
While the Elite opened up the show with Kenny Omega and Nick and Matt Jackson taking on Juice Robinson and the Gunns, the match was clearly uneven as Jay White appeared to assist Robinson and the Gunns.
However, FTR came out to actually save the Bucks and even the odds. This marked Wheeler’s first live appearance since his arrest.

Later tonight, there will be a “sit-down interview” between FTR and the Bucks, but it’s unknown whether that will be live or if it has been, or will be, pre-taped.
