Austin Gunn made incendiary comments towards MJF and the fans on the November 8 episode of AEW Dynamite and was apparently fined afterwards.

After their match against Bollywood Boyz (Gurv Sihra & Harv Sihra), Colten and Austin Gunn took to the microphone, with the Bullet Club Gold members having choice words for AEW World Champion and ROH World Tag Team Champion MJF.
Highlights from the match, including The Gunns’ post match promo, can be seen below this news story.
In the promo, Colten Gunn took shots at MJF’s claims of being a “generational talent”, calling him a liar who tells “sob story after sob story about how you didn’t make it.”

Gunn didn’t stop there, going on to say:
“That’s not what a generational talent does.
“Do you think LeBron James went to the NBA and said ‘ah, not yet’? No, he walked into the league and ran that b*tch from day one, like me and Austin.
“We’ve never been told ‘no’. We’ve never been told we ‘aren’t ready’. We were made for TV. We’ve been doing this for three years.
“We’re former AEW Tag Champs and we’re about to be Ring of Honor Tag Champs because we are generational talents.”

Austin would then continue to take pot shots at MJF, saying:
“Max, you’re an embarrassment as a champion. For the past three months, you’ve defended the ROH titles one time.
“Now, the only friends you have left are on the other side of this guard rail.
“And, I pray to God that you pick one of these fat pieces of s**t (pointing to the fans) as your partner for Full Gear.”

Austin Gunn’s language would apparently get him into trouble, if his recent tweet is anything to go by, posting:

This wasn’t the only challenge that MJF had to his championship reign, with Samoa Joe vacating the ROH TV Championship to focus on the AEW World Championship.
AEW Full Gear takes place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
