A former WWE and TNA Wrestling star was backstage at last night’s AEW Dynamite Homecoming show in Daily’s Place.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite show took place at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, and featured numerous tributes to Brodie Lee.
Taking to Twitter after the show, former WWE star Elijah Burke (‘The Pope’ D’Angelo Dinero in TNA Wrestling) shared photos of himself backstage at the event, as well as a video of him doing Prince Nana’s dance backstage alongside the man himself.
Burke debuted in 2006 for WWE as part of the ECW brand, where he was a member of the New Breed stable with Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker and Kevin Thorn.
The show featured the AEW return of the Young Bucks, who had not appeared since they lost their AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity to the Golden Jets back at AEW Full Gear.
The Bucks returned sporting new look moustaches, and seemingly set them up to be the opponents of Sting and Darby Allin in Sting’s final match at AEW Revolution.
