An AEW star has commented on the difference in environment on AEW Dynamite and Collision.

AEW Collision premiered its debut episode on Saturday, June 17 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois and was headlined by the return of CM Punk.
The show also featured the returns of Andrade El Idolo and Miro, who like Punk hadn’t wrestled since All Out 2022. Many fans and critics noted the “different feel” to AEW Collision in comparison to AEW’s flagship show of Dynamite.

On the latest edition of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the AEW star discussed the debut episode of AEW Collision and noted the difference in environment. Matt Hardy said:
“I thought it was solid. I liked how it looked different, it had a different feel. That’s going to be part of Collision’s success, it looks very different from Dynamite.”
“Those shows need to have two different identities. Dynamite has an identity and Collision has a different identity. There is something special there, and eventually, you can have the World Series between those two.”

The June 24 episode of AEW Collision will be headlined by CM Punk teaming with FTR and Ricky Starks to face Jay White, Juice Robinson and The Gunns
