The date and location of the 2023 AEW Blood & Guts match may have been revealed.
With Forbidden Door set to take place tonight, it’s around about the time when AEW would be building to their annual ‘Blood & Guts’ match.
Last year’s match took place in Detroit, Michigan, which saw the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz defeat the Jericho Appreciation Society.
In an update from Fightful Select, those with knowledge of the situation have claimed that AEW is targeting Boston as the location for this year’s Blood & Guts match.
AEW is set to visit Boston’s TD Garden on Wednesday, July 19 for a Dynamite taping, so that would likely be the date of the match.
It is not known who is set to feature in this year’s match, though most believe that it will be used as the blowoff match for the ongoing Elite vs Blackpool Combat Club feud.
This will be the third Blood & Guts match in AEW, with the first happening back in 2021, with the Pinnacle defeating the Inner Circle.
The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club competed in Stadium Stampede back at Double or Nothing last month.
