AEW commentator Jim Ross has addressed rumors that he’s going to retire soon, amid Ross dealing with health issues.

Jim Ross has been on a hiatus since the June 17 edition of AEW Collision, with Ross notably suffering a fall ahead of that show.
While away from the ring, Ross has been healing the eye he hurt during the fall, as well as his radiation wound from previous cancer treatments.
Ross has now responded to a fan on Twitter/X who asked JR to not retire.

Planning to stay behind the commentary desk, Ross replied:

There was some concern for Ross after he previously revealed that he had to go to the emergency room because of concerns about his radiation wound from cancer treatment.
Ross has since stated that his wound appears to be healing, but slowly.
We continue to wish Jim Ross a safe and healthy recovery.
