It’s official, Edge, real name Adam Copeland, has joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as of tonight’s WrestleDream pay-per-view.

The main event of the show saw Edge’s former tag team partner and long-time best friend Christian Cage defending the TNT Championship against Darby Allin in a 2/3 falls match.
Darby Allin scored the first fall early on with a jackknife pin.
Christian then tied things up via countout after slamming Allin onto the sharp edges of the steel steps on the outside of the ring.
After that, Christian took the canvas and padding off the ring to expose the wooden boards.

The referee was taken out, at which point Christian tried to use his title belt to knock Darby out, but Nick Wayne ran out, seemingly to help Allin.
However, Wayne actually struck Allin with the title belt himself, much to displeasure of his own mother watching in the crowd, joining forces with Christian, and Christian then pinned Allin for the overall win to retain the title.
As they were attacking Allin post-match, Sting came out to help Darby, but then Luchasaurus came out and the three-on-two numbers game took over.

That was until… the lights went out and a video package played before “You think you know me…” played in the arena and Edge, now going by his real name Adam Copeland made his AEW debut.
At first, Edge teased that he’d be joining the Christian team, but instead attacked Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus as Christian fled, setting up a three-on-three feud with Christia, Wayne and Luchasaurus vs Copeland, Sting and Allin.
Edge’s WWE contract only officially expired a day ago.
