After being involved in a program of late with Matt Riddle, WWE has announced Drew McIntyre’s first appearance since Riddle’s release.

Now that Matt Riddle has been released, we now know what happens next for his recent ‘McBro’ tag team partner, Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre is set for an appearance on Miz TV this week on Monday Night Raw as announced on WWE.com.
Set to address his actions (or lack thereof) at the close of last week’s Raw, McIntyre is described as being “in a pickle”.
While he did beat Jey Uso in the main event of Raw, after Judgment Day attacked Uso, McIntyre did nothing to assist, instead turning away.

Seemingly with some pause of re-consideration, Drew’s decision was made for him when Cody Rhodes ran out to save Jey.
Matt Riddle was released by WWE on September 22, 2023.
Riddle’s release comes a day after many other releases from the company in the wake of the merger with Endeavor/UFC to form TKO.

Riddle signed with WWE in 2018 as a member of the NXT roster, with his final match coming at the September 4 Raw where he and Drew McIntyre lost to the Viking Raiders.
The storyline looked to be heading in the direction of McIntyre going heel and turning on Riddle.
