An update has emerged on how much talent knew about their future plans ahead of the WWE Draft.

The WWE Draft kicked off on the April 28 edition of SmackDown, and continued the next night on the SmackDown LowDown.
Across these nights, several NXT stars received their official main roster call-ups.
Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn are now heading to SmackDown and Indi Hartwell, Zoey Stark, JD McDonagh and Apollo Crews drafted by Raw.
Von Wagner was also called up, as a free agent.

WWE has shared footage of NXT wrestlers reacting to the draft picks on social media, leading many to question whether these reactions were as genuine as they looked.
Per PWInsider, some wrestlers, including ‘big names’ only learned about their next moves via the official draft announcements.
PWInsider noted that they know of one NXT talent knew WWE planned to call them up, however others legitimately didn’t know until the announcements.

The WWE Draft continues on Monday’s (May 1) edition of Raw.
The new rosters will become official on May 8, following the upcoming Backlash premium live event.
