A top AEW star is scheduled to return at this weekend’s “AEW House Rules” show.
On the April 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Blackpool Combat Club viciously attacked Hangman Adam Page with Bryan Danielson ending the beatdown by stabbing Page in the head with a screwdriver.
The former AEW World Champion has been absent from AEW programming since this attack, but it looks like his return is imminent.
All Elite Wrestling announced that Page had signed a contract to face Big Bill at this Saturday’s “AEW House Rules” event in Salem, Virginia before his injuries. On Twitter, the company wrote:
Prior to being injured by the #BCC, #HangmanPage had signed a contract for a match vs #BigBill TOMORROW, Sat. 5/13 @ #AEWHouseRules in Salem, VA.@TheCaZXL has refused to postpone the match; will Hangman Page show up in Salem tomorrow?

Hangman Adam Page hasn’t competed in the ring since the March 15 episode of Dynamite where he teamed with the Dark Order’s Evil Uno and Stu Grayson in a loss to the Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
The BCC is currently embroiled in a heated rivalry with Hangman’s former friends, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks of The Elite.
Moxley defeated Omega inside a steel cage on this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite thanks to Don Callis betraying “The Cleaner.”
