WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has noted that he’d want his sons to wrestle for AEW rather than WWE right now.

Terrence and Terrell Hughes were previously AEW regulars, competing on Dark and Dark Elevation on numerous occassions between November 2020 and December 2022.
It has been speculated that the brothers will soon join WWE, following previous tryouts with the company.
Speaking on Insight, D-Von Dudley noted that if he had to pick either AEW or WWE for Terrence and Terrell, he’d pick AEW:

“They’re doing their thing. They’re having a good time and enjoying themselves, which I’m very happy with.
“I’d rather them be with AEW right now than probably going to NXT or WWE. There’s just so much going on there (in WWE) right now, I just feel they might get lost in the shuffle. Right now, AEW is the best fit for them.

“I’m a very biblical person to the point where I feel God does everything for a reason. If they had a couple of tryouts (with WWE) and they were told ‘no,’ there was a reason for that.
“Lo and behold, look what’s going on now. There’s so much disarray (in WWE).”
