MJF addressed a number of subjects during his heart-to-heart on AEW Dynamite 200, including the “bidding war of 2024”.

Whilst the promo may have been a tool to set up MJF vs Adam Cole for the AEW World Championship at All In, there was much more to it than that.
The whole promo from AEW Dynamite 200 on August 2 can be seen below this news story.

In a heartfelt promo that might have teased a babyface turn for the AEW World Champion, MJF said:
“As some of you may know I have something, it’s called Attention Deficit Disorder… with that disorder comes a litany of other disorders that are linked to it.
“One that I struggled with more than anything is called Rejection Sensitive Disorder.
“Essentially, my brain is structured differently and I cannot regulate rejection-based emotions or behaviors, making life sometimes really difficult for me.
“And, to be honest, life would have been pretty difficult for me without RSD.”

A fan would then comment on this through Twitter, saying:

In the promo, MJF would go on to deliver what could be seen as a face turn, with references to being stabbed in the back, something that may have been teased by Adam Cole, saying:
“There’s a lot about my past that you don’t know – I have been bullied, I have been abused, I have been cheated on, I have been lied to, I have been beaten up and frankly a lot of it I blacked out, but there is one thing that I still remember to this day.”

MJF would go on to reveal the “scumbag” attitude of a group of anti-Semitic bullies, saying:
“That was the day unfortunately those kids walked up to me with their hands filled to the brim with quarters and them at me as they as they physically could and said ‘Pick it up, Jew boy, pick it up.’
“To this day, I still wake up in a cold sweat and I can feel the sensation – sorry, man, I’m getting emotional – I can feel the sensation of the quarters hitting my skin, I can hear their laughter.
“And, I remember saying to myself that day and fully believing that everyone on this planet was an evil scumbag and if I wanted to survive this lifetime, if I wanted to protect myself, I had to stab everyone in the back before they had the opportunity to stab me.
“But, I’m beginning to realize that that’s no way to live because, Tampa, while I was protecting myself, I ended up becoming one of them.
“I ended up becoming a scumbag myself. It’s true,

“And, to be honest, guys, being a scumbag is easy, making you people hate me is easy, getting you people to boo me is easy.
“What’s hard? What’s hard, Tampa, is being vulnerable and being open. That’s hard and I knew with my disorder, I knew that if I opened myself up and I was Max and you people booed me it would kill me, because then it would bring me back to being the five foot nothing ADD riddled Jew boy who had quarters thrown at him.
“But, you know what, I’m not scared anymore. I’m not scared anymore and that’s because of each and every single one of you.”

MJF would go on to thank the crowd for seeing “Max” and not the man with hate in his heart, but reminded everyone that he may be Max, but he’s also still a scumbag, something that he would remind people on Twitter.
This wasn’t the only appearance for MJF on the landmark show, either, as he would return during the post-show celebration for Tony Khan’s company.
With news that The Elite are among a number of AEW stars to have signed new contracts, MJF pointed out that he, so far, hasn’t, and that the “bidding war of 2024” is still to come.
