WWE Hall of Famer Edge (Adam Copeland) officially made his AEW debut at the climax of the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view on October 1.

Copeland confronted best friend Christian Cage as he was attempting a con-chair-to on Sting, before laying out both Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus.
Edge’s WWE contract expired at the end of September, with his last contracted match taking place against Sheamus on SmackDown in Toronto in August.
Speaking to Maggie & Perloff ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday, Tony Khan discussed Copeland’s debut, revealing when he got in contact with the company about joining.

He said:
“Not long after AEW Grand Slam, we had Adam Copeland reach out, he was out of contract. He is one of the most popular and one of the most successful wrestlers of all time. To have Adam Copeland in AEW is a huge deal for us.”

Copeland will make his in-ring debut for the company on tonight’s Title Tuesday special episode of Dynamite.
