A former WWE Universal Champion made his return to the ring after SmackDown, following a year long absence.
Braun Strowman made his surprise return to TV during the April 29 edition of Raw to save Jey Uso from an attack at the hands of Finn Balor and Logan Paul.
The Monster Among Men returned to the ring in a dark match after Friday’s (May 10) SmackDown episode went off the air.
Braun Strowman faced off against Shinsuke Nakamura in singles action, with Strowman ultimately picking up the victory.
This marked Strowman’s first match since teaming with Ricochet to defeat Chad Gable & Otis on the May 1, 2023 edition of Raw.
Strowman stepped away from the ring following this to undergo neck surgery.
He made a one-off return to TV on the August 25, 2023 SmackDown episode to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt following his passing.
Despite competing in a dark match after SmackDown, Strowman has officially been drafted to the Raw roster.
It’s currently unclear when Strowman will next wrestle on WWE TV.
