AEW star Toni Storm has very quickly become one of the most popular stars in the entire company following her recent character change to ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm.
Storm spent many years in WWE as part of NXT UK, NXT and eventually the main roster, before she requested and was granted her release from the company in December 2021.
Speaking on the Wilde On podcast with Taylor Wilde, WWE star Tegan Nox discussed Storm’s recent transformation, noting that she is ‘living her best life’ and that it’s ‘so her’.
She added:
“I messaged her straight afterward. I was like, ‘That is you. That’s the Toni I’ve known for 12 years.’ She’s just being herself and it’s like, oh God, how far is this going to go? Because I know you and you’re going to push the boat as far as you can. I just love that she’s throwing shoes at people now.”
Tegan recently made her return to WWE television, where she has been forming a tag team with Natalya following her recent NXT Women’s Championship defeat to Becky Lynch on Raw.
Toni Storm is set for an AEW Women’s World Championship match at Full Gear next month, and her new butler has recently undergone a name change in the company.
