An exciting free agent signing made their debut on AEW Dynamite tonight and seemingly entered a program with another top star immediately.

In a backstage interview segment with RJ City, he was joined by former Goddess of Stardom Champion, Mariah May.
Announcing her arrival in AEW, she mentioned that she was a big fan of RJ City by proxy of his work with Toni Storm.
Giving a ‘Toni Storm Superfan’ vibe, she immediately became overjoyed at the idea that City could connect her with Storm next week.
RJ City noted that Storm had just left after an earlier segment aired in black and white at her insistence.

A backstage interview segment with Tony Schiavone earlier featured ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm as well as her AEW Full Gear 2023 opponent, AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida.
Noting that she went to Japan because Toni was there, May’s now in AEW because Toni is here and she can’t wait to meet her.
With Tony Khan announcing her signing on Twitter and sharing an official All Elite graphic, her name also appears as ‘The Glamour’ Mariah May.

Elsewhere in AEW women’s division action, Julia Hart beat the returning Red Velvet in the latter’s in-ring return after being out of action for nine months due to injury.
After the match, Hart had a staredown with Skye Blue who came out to come face-to-face with the House of Black member.
They were soon joined by also Willow Nightingale (who tended to Red Velvet) as well as TBS Champion Kris Statlander, who got in the ring between Hart and Blue.
