AEW star files new trademark

Former AEW and WWE World Champion Chris Jericho has filed his latest trademark filing with United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

On November 12, 2023, under his real name Chris Irvine, Jericho filed to trademark “The Jericho Era”.
The trademark was filed with the following description:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes
THE JERICHO ERA™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts

Other recent trademark filings by Jericho have included Jeri-Show, the name of his tag team with Paul Wight/Big Show, and the Golden Jets, the name of his tag team with Kenny Omega.
Jericho will team with both Wight and Jericho, along with Kota Ibushi, in a street fight on AEW Dynamite this week against  Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher and Brian Cage.
Cage wasn’t originally planned for the match but another AEW star was pulled from it and he was the replacement.
