Ahead of the WrestleDream pay-per-view, AEW star Kyle Fletcher has explained what it is like to work with Don Callis.
At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2024, The Young Bucks defeated Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
The finish and loss saw Fletcher finding himself in the middle of Ospreay and his manager Don Callis.
Speaking with Renee Paquette on AEW Close Up, Kyle Fletcher explained his working relationship with Don Callis. He said:
“It’s interesting. I would say I think everyone comes in with a preconceived idea of what he’s going to be like,”
“At first, it kind of upheld, but, like, I think over time, as I’ve worked with him more, the more stuff he comes out with, and I’m like, ‘I never would have thought you’d say something like that.’ So, I think our relationship has really blossomed.”
Fletcher’s association with the Don Callis Family will be tested once again when his friend Will Ospreay defends the AEW International Championship against his stablemate Konosuke Takeshita and Ricochet in a three-way match at this Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream.
