Here’s what happened with Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan after this week’s edition of SmackDown went off the air.
Following Morgan attempting to win Dirty Dom over ahead of Rhea Ripley’s return from injury, Dominik made his final choice between the two during Ripley vs Morgan at SummerSlam.
After helping Morgan to retain her title, Dominik Mysterio kissed the Women’s World Champion and left the arena with her, confirming his betrayal of Rhea Ripley.
Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan have now teamed together, competing in a mixed tag-team match following the August 9 SmackDown episode.
After the live broadcast ended, Dominik and Liv faced off against Braun Strowman and Kairi Sane in an untelevised dark match.
Strowman and Sane ultimately picked up the victory, with Sane surprisingly pinning the Women’s World Champion.

Mysterio and Morgan both appeared on Monday’s episode of Raw, where they evaded the grasps of Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, who now have their sights set on the new Judgment Day.
