Special plans for the first WWE NXT in 2025 have potentially been revealed, with the company perhaps set to mark the occasion with a change of location.
Aside from Premium Live Events, the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL typically houses NXT TV tapings.
However, as the brand begins anew on the CW Network beginning next week (October 1), they are also set to branch out of the Sunshine State.
Next Tuesday’s CW Network premiere will emanate from Chicago’s Allstate Arena, with the following week’s show on October 8 taking place in Chesterfield, MO.
As of now there has been no more NXT TV dates announced for locations away from Orlando, however, a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter may have indicated that another special edition of NXT could be in the pipeline.
Whilst writing about WWE’s reported plans for Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome to host the Monday, January 6 edition of Raw, Dave Meltzer revealed that there has also been talk for an NXT taping to take place in that same arena the following night.
Meltzer wrote:
While not confirmed, there was a lot of talk this week coming off Raw that the first Raw on Netflix on 1/6 would be in Southern California. There were Netflix employees in the first few rows at Raw this week.
Netflix is based in both Los Angeles and Los Gatos, CA, which would be the San Jose market. As part of that talk was the idea of doing NXT in the same building the next night. Again, this is just talk although the Raw episode in Los Angeles is pretty strong talk.

JJA Sport Studio will provide further updates on WWE’s plans for future NXT locations as/when they become available.
