The October 1 episode of WWE NXT saw Ethan Page defend the new-look NXT Championship against Trick Williams.
The match featured CM Punk as the guest referee and can be seen, in full, below this news story.
New championship belts were introduced on last night’s NXT for the men’s and women’s championships although Page wouldn’t get much time to admire it.
Williams would go on to be victorious in the match with Page showing his frustration towards Punk afterwards.
That frustration has bled to Twitter with Page taking a pop at Punk’s history, tweeting:

The tweet was accompanied by two photos of Page and a little girl that may be his own daughter.
Page and his wife, Viviana, had their daughter back in 2018 with a son being added to the family in 2021.
Previously, Page had revealed that he “hates Punk” more than he hates Trick Williams.
Last night’s win sees Trick Williams start his second reign as NXT Champion with the star also being a former North American Champion.
Punk goes on to face Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match at WWE Bad Blood on October 5.
