Following her return on the WWE NXT CW premiere, Cora Jade has commented on the journey to her comeback.
On the October 1 CW launch special of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez defeated Giulia to retain the NXT Women’s Championship thanks to an assist from the returning Cora Jade.
This marked Jade’s first appearance on WWE programming since suffering a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus in January.
On October 6, Cora Jade took to social media to post a video of herself following her surgery and comment on the journey to her WWE NXT return. She wrote:
A little over 8 months ago I tore my ACL, MCL, & both parts of my meniscus. Whether it’s 5 minutes after surgery or 8 months, it’s all I think about. None of you want it more than me. See you in St Louis #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/IWbDgm16ts
