There was yet another title change at tonight’s WWE SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio, this time from the women’s division.

After two consecutive title changes, the fourth match of the night saw Bayley defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax.
Towards the end of the match, Money in the Bank holder and Nia Jax’s recent accomplice Tiffany Stratton ran out to the ring.
Stratton was seemingly looking to cash-in the Money in the Bank contract, and while she didn’t get that far before being laid out by Bayley, it turns out it was a plan that worked effectively.

Stratton’s arrival distracted Bayley, meaning Nia Jax was able to capitalize and become the new WWE Women’s Champion.
Jax hit two powerbombs before hitting a second and third A-Nia-lator for the win.
After the match, Jax and Stratton celebrated in the ring together as it became clear that the distraction was a coordinated effort.

However, it’s worth noting that Stratton did seem to be eyeballing the title before they would leave the ring.
Already at SummerSlam, Bron Breakker had beaten Sami Zayn to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, while LA Knight won the United States Championship from Logan Paul.
