WWE has announced the next opponent for Cody Rhodes coming up at King and Queen of the Ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 25.
In the opening segment of tonight’s WWE SmackDown, GM Nick Aldis welcomed Cody Rhodes before introducing his newest opponent.
When Nick Aldis stated that he was bringing out the challenger for Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship, it was another current champion who appeared.
Logan Paul came out and noted that he and Cody Rhodes will have a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ match at King and Queen of the Ring 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Rhodes noted in his part of the back-and-forth verbal exchange that if he was to win the United States Championship, he would become a Grand Slam Champion, suggesting the bout is really a tile versus title match.
While Logan Paul boasted about his accomplishments during his short career thus far in WWE, Cody Rhodes retorted that the recent success of the company was a team effort.
After an intriguing verbal exchange – some of which you can see below – the segment came to a close.
