Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appeared to close tonight’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event after a big tag team match featuring Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes.
The unlikely duo of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes joined together to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in the main event of WWE Bad Blood 2024.
In the end, the action in the ring would come down to a few key moments, including one that occurred after the match was over.
Cody Rhodes would end up jumping off of the corner ring post and crashing through Jacob Fatu to take out the Samoan Werewolf from the match after giving a salute to Roman back in the ring.
Roman and Solo would go to have a one-on-one fight until the other Bloodline members – Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa – would make their presence known, distracting Roman at ringside mid-Superman Punch.
A mystery man would be shown lurking behind Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, but the figure would go on to superkick both of the tag team champs rather than joining them.
Jimmy Uso would be revealed to be the mystery man as he distracted Solo Sikoa, allowing Reigns the opportunity to capture pinfall over Sikoa.
In the end, Jimmy and Roman would go on to embrace in the ring when Roman would turn his attention to Rhodes who had re-entered the squared circle.
The pair nodded at one another and would go on to exchange glances but not handshakes as Jimmy and Roman walked away together.
While Rhodes was alone in the ring, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa would attack him from behind with Solo joining in.
Jimmy would ask Roman what the plan was and while initially Reigns retorted that their alliance was ‘one time only’, he would end up being encouraged by Jimmy to return to the ring to help Cody.
Reigns and Uso would run back to help Rhodes and were still in the ring when The Rock’s music hit and the Final Boss made an appearance.
He simply raised his eyebrow and signaled for his music to play as he turned to walk away as the show went off the air.
