MJF had an in-ring promo segment on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (June 5) after having been out of action with injury in 2024.

MJF took aim at several members of the AEW locker room upon his return, including AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, Kazuchika Okada and recent fan favorite Will Ospreay.
While MJF had individual insults for each of those names, he would go on to mention that no-one else could say they were the best in the world.

He went on to list some of the professional wrestling world’s biggest stars such as Bryan Danielson, Cody Rhodes, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole and Hiroshi Tanahashi – noting that he has beaten all of them.
MJF would then be interrupted by RUSH, who wondered where his return celebration was since he returned to the AEW scene.

After some more choice words between the pair (including MJF using an offensive phrase in Spanish directed at RUSH’s mother), the interaction got physical as RUSH ran to the ring.
The segment would end in a pull apart brawl as multiple security, referees and authority figure Christopher Daniels had to run out to try and break it up.
