To open tonight’s AEW Dynamite, there was a chilling explanation from Jon Moxley regarding why he betrayed Bryan Danielson.

With Jon Moxley giving a comment after his vicious attack on Bryan Danielson that stunned fans at AEW All Out on Saturday, September 7.
Moxley noted that he had thought he was building something with Danielson, a legacy that could extend beyond their careers.

In the clip, Moxley speaks directly to Danielson at one point, saying:
“Mr. Patience, Mr. Empathy, ‘Mr. Greatest Man I’ve Ever Known’, I look around and all I see is egos out of control everywhere I look, it permeates AEW. It’s crawling with egos out of control and I can’t take it anymore!
Blood alone moves the wheels of history. Our mentor called Bryan Danielson the perfect wrestler, Bryan was always the Lordship’s favorite. But he saw himself in me and I am Lord knows far from perfect…
“I am no villain, I am no hero. Now I know exactly why God put me here – I am the one true King of these lands. We’ve tried your way Bryan, diplomacy has failed. Today I choose war.”

On commentary it was noted that Bryan Danielson was at home recovering with his family and Wheeler Yuta by his side.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay agreed to join Kyle Fletcher in the Tag Team Casino Gauntlet match to determine who would go on to face the Young Bucks Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.
