An AEW star has seemingly now officially joined a top heel faction following the events of this week’s AEW Rampage (October 27).

With his tag team partner Mark Davis currently sidelined with injury, Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher has spent much of October venturing out on his own two feet.
Despite being known as a tag team specialist the promising 24-year-old has impressed in recent weeks in competition against bonafide main event stars such as Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson.
This weeks Rampage was no different, as Fletcher once again stood across from another elite talent, that being Konosuke Takeshita.
Unfortunately for Fletcher, much like his bouts against Danielson and Omega, he would once again come up short, with Takeshita securing the win just over 11 minutes.

However, after the bell Fletcher would show a bit of bite, attacking both Takeshita and fellow Don Callis Family member Powerhouse Hobbs with a steel chair.
Hobbs unsurprisingly didn’t take this all too well and would grab Fletcher by the neck, however before he could punish the young Aussie star Callis would intervene.
Despite being openly critical of Fletcher’s failures in recent big matches it seems as if the 24-year-old’s anger struck a chord with Callis as he embraced him and even referred to him as his new “apprentice.”

While there is no official word on if Fletcher has joined the Don Callis Family it certainly seems that way based on what transpired here.
