Jackass star Johnny Knoxville has teased a WWE return, noting that he’s interested in facing off against Sami Zayn again.
Knoxville made his in-ring debut in the 2022 Royal Rumble match, during which he eliminated Sami Zayn.
He then faced off against Sami Zayn in an Anything Goes match at WrestleMania 38, which ended when Knoxville pinned Zayn with an assist from a giant mousetrap.
Speaking with Howie Mandel, Knoxville noted that Zayn is not much of a challenge. Noting that he’d fight Zayn “anytime”, Knoxville said:
“Oh, you mean, smash that low down and dirty Sami Zayn in his face again? I would love to. Anytime. Anytime, WWE and Sami Zayn, I would love to smash your face in again.
“I know he’s a good guy now. Everyone says he’s a good guy, but I’m like, ‘Oh, please.’ He’s not much of a challenge. You saw, I mean, I don’t know if you’ve seen WrestleMania, but it wasn’t much of a challenge,”
Sami Zayn is currently the WWE Intercontinental Champion, after defeating Gunther for the gold at WrestleMania 40.
