AEW Revolution incredible gate revealed

The incredible gate generated by AEW Revolution in Greensboro, North Carolina featuring Sting’s retirement match has been revealed.

AEW’s first pay-per-view event of 2024 took place on March 3, when the Revolution event came to Greensboro.
The show was marked around the retirement of the Icon, Sting, who competed in the show’s main event against the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

The show drew over 15,000 fans in the Greensboro Coliseum, and we now know the incredible gate that the show generated.
Per Wrestlenomics, the city of Greensboro has noted that the event drew in a gate of just over $1 million.

The City of Greensboro also noted that the event sold 15,837 tickets, with 281 tickets comped for a total of 16,118 tickets distributed.
Revolution also saw Samoa Joe retain the AEW World Championship against Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, as well as the first AEW match of Will Ospreay after his signing was announced at Full Gear.
