The date and location of AEW’s seventh instalment of Battle of the Belts has now been revealed.

Despite AEW recently adding its fourth weekly program to its schedule in Collision (along with Dynamite, Rampage and ROH), it seems that there is still room for the quarterly Battle of the Belts specials.
As reported by PWInsider, the seventh Battle of the Belts will air on Saturday, July 15 right after that night’s episode of Collision.
The event takes place at the Scotiabank Saddledome from Calgary, Alberta and will mark the final stop in AEW’s recent tour of Canada, which began at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on the June 24 Collision and June 25’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

Not only will the tour finish on July 15 with Battle of the Belts, but Collision beforehand will see both of this year’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments conclude.
The semi-finals for the men’s tournament see a pair of historic grudge matches as CM Punk faces Samoa Joe, and Ricky Starks takes on Powerhouse Hobbs. Both of those matches are set for this coming Saturday’s July 8 Collision.
On the women’s side in the semis, NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale takes on ROH Women’s Champion Athena, while Skye Blue faces off against the winner of the rescheduled quarter-final match between Britt Baker and Ruby Soho.

Speaking of Baker, her partner Adam Cole has found himself in an unexpected partnership with recent rival MJF, with both men being paired together in the upcoming AEW Tag Title blind eliminator tournament.
Despite Cole’s attempt to establish ‘boundaries’ with his new partner, the AEW World Champion doesn’t seem to be getting the hint, crashing Cole’s Twitch livestreams on two occasions.
