Some more big contract news for WWE as another one of the company’s major stars has re-signed for “big money”.
Following the recent announcements of the likes of Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre staying with WWE, another big name has been locked down.
That name is Seth Rollins, whose contract was set to expire in June 2024.
As reported by Fightful Select, Rollins has signed a new deal with WWE for “big money” and multiple years.
The contract is said to keep him with the company into his 40s – he’s currently 37 with his 38th birthday coming on May 28.
A WWE higher-up told Fightful they wish the deal had been done sooner – leaving contract negotiations late has become something of a theme in WWE in recent times.
Rollins’ wife Becky Lynch is believed to have her WWE deal coming up this year as well, but no word yet on whether she’s re-signed.
Rollins was said to have had “outside interest” but it’s unknown if any formal offers were made to him from other companies.
