A return date for Bryan Danielson to AEW in-ring competition has been revealed on tonight’s AEW Collision.
With the pre-taped edition of AEW Collision airing tonight (November 11) an additional segment was aired on the broadcast.
In a backstage segment with Tony Khan, Bryan Danielson appeared to confirm that he would be appearing at All In in August 2024 with tickets going on sale soon.
However much more pressingly, he also announced being included in a brand new tournament.
Tony Khan described the ‘AEW Continental Classic’ that would be kicking off on November 22 in Chicago for Dynamite.
The round-robin tournament will feature “12 of AEW’s top stars”, including the first announced participant who was also revealed.
Somewhat surprisingly, it was revealed the Bryan Danielson would be competing in the AEW Continental Classic.
With Danielson himself commenting that it may not look like he’s ready to go but he certainly is.
You can watch the video below for a rundown of all of the dates set to feature AEW Continental Classic matches throughout this Holiday season.
The tournament will conclude with a champion being declared at the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30 in Long Island, NY.
