AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs has shared an update on his injury recovery, sharing a video of him working out weeks after surgery.
Hobbs last wrestled on the April 24 edition of AEW Dynamite, unsuccessfully challenging for Jon Moxley’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
Following reports that Hobbs had suffered a “significant injury” during this bout, it was revealed that the star’s injury required surgery.
Hobbs has now taken to Twitter to share a video from his first PT session following his operation.
In the video, which you can watch below, Hobbs is wearing a leg brace for what we now know was a patellar tendon injury.

When initially breaking his silence on his injury, Hobbs noted that he intended to recalibrate, rebuild and reinvent himself, noting that the real test is the comeback.
Powerhouse Hobbs’ return time frame is currently unclear. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
We wish Hobbs a safe and healthy recovery.
