Making his first appearance on TNA Wrestling since 2017, Matt Hardy is back and he is very much back to his ‘broken’ persona.

Making an appearance on tonight’s episode of TNA Wrestling (April 25), Matt Hardy followed up on his surprise appearance at TNA Rebellion.
After having appeared after the main event that saw Moose retain the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth (formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in WWE), Hardy again interacted with Nemeth.
Coming out to reveal that he felt Moose’s win wasn’t entirely legitimate since upon replay it appears Nemeth’s shoulder is off the canvas, Hardy didn’t really care.

Revealing that he was back in TNA Wrestling to target the TNA Wrestling World Championship, he had hoped it would be Nemeth but nevertheless, he will beat Moose.
The pair was later confronted by Moose along with the rest of The System after which the main event for the show was set as Eddie Edwards would take on Nic Nemeth.
Since the show was pre-taped, it is already known that Edwards bests Nemeth by the end of the show.

Matt Hardy has confirmed that despite his current appearances in TNA Wrestling, he is still a ‘free agent’ as he has not signed a long term contract with the promotion.
He was previously speculated to be returning to WWE, possibly as a piece of the on-going QR Code mysteries that appear to be pointing to the return of Bo Dallas in some iteration.
