Following his loss at NXT No Mercy, TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry has made a hilarious reference to the delayed GTA 6 video game.
At NXT No Mercy, Ethan Page defeated Joe Hendry to retain the NXT Championship in the main event. This bout was the first time a non-WWE star headlined one of the company’s premium live events.
Hendry has seen his popularity skyrocket in 2024, becoming one of the most prominently featured acts on both TNA Wrestling and WWE NXT in recent months.
On September 8, Hendry took to social media to make a reference to the Grand Theft Auto 6 video game, seemingly pitching for his theme song to be included. With a photo of himself, he wrote:

It was recently reported that Rockstar Games had internally decided to delay the release of GTA 6 until early to mid 2026 after originally announcing its release for 2025.
