CMLL & NJPW star Stephanie Vaquer is heading to WWE and she has now reacted to the announcement of her pending arrival.
Vaquer’s departure from the independent scene was revealed in a ‘special announcement from CMLL and NJPW‘ stating ‘personal reasons’ were behind her decision to depart both companies ‘effective immediately.
Shawn Michaels would later tweet confirmation that Vaquer was heading to WWE, welcoming her to the family.
Vaquer would react to the tweet with an emoji response, further confirming the move to WWE:

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that a number of companies, including CMLL and NJPW, were ‘upset’ at the way the deal had come about.
He would also confirm that AEW had made an offer to Vaquer with the company not being happy at her decision to sign with WWE.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Vaquer lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship to TBS Champion Mercedes Mone in a Winner Takes All Match.
