CM Punk threatened to ‘hold hostage’ the WWE Raw broadcast tonight unless Drew McIntyre returned to the arena to face him.

In another innovative segment from WWE, fans followed along as Drew McIntyre stomped to the back and drove away in a luxury vehicle after a tense exchange with Adam Pearce.
McIntyre was incensed that Adam Pearce replaced him in the King of the Ring tournament with Jey Uso.
Uso would go on to beat Finn Balor in the match to advance in the tournament after McIntyre was described as being ‘not medically cleared’.
Pearce countered that it was McIntyre who drew attention to the injury to begin with, prompting a visit to medical to be examined and eventually not cleared to compete.

With already plenty of storyline covered in the brief exchange, before Pearce could even walk away fans were greeted by a yellow 1980s Z28 Chevrolet Camaro.
Emerging from it of course, was CM Punk who was disappointed to have just missed McIntyre.
Instead he asked Pearce to have the truck play his music as the long shot entrance on this week’s show went to Punk.

He happened to walk past Chad Gable who was shouting at Alpha Academy and even took pause to tell Gable to calm down.
In the in-ring segment Punk attempted to tempt McIntyre to come back to the arena although his ‘holding the show hostage’ ultimately proved unsuccessful as Drew did not return.
Punk however landed several lines of interest for the close listener, including referring to McIntyre as a ‘choke artist’ but going on to add, “not like how I’m a choke artist, two very different things”, to which Pat McAfee on commentary replied, ‘Guillotine’.

Also referring to himself as the ‘most petty man on the roster’, Punk would go on to add that perhaps, he was the most petty man in the whole world.
He also called himself a “five-tool player”, while McIntyre is “just a tool”.
He would ultimately end the segment by telling the camera directly that he will continue to stalk McIntyre and he will find him, even if he has to go all the way to Scotland to do it.
